I went with DLR even though both had a pretty good run with Van Halen, but I dont care for much of either's solo stuff at all. Somewhere I remember reading that Van Halen originally did not want DLR as their singer but took him because he had some sound equipment and they didn't. I guess that worked out pretty well for them.

Original or not Sammy made them write better tunes, DLR will always be the front man to end all front men in his day. I voted for Sammy anyway!
