No. 15 Tennessee (1-0) and Nicholls (0-1) will conclude a three-game nonconference series on Saturday at Lindsey Nelson Stadium.
The Vols and Colonels will play a doubleheader on Saturday. First pitch for Game 2 of the series is scheduled for 1 p.m. EST and first pitch for the series finale will take place approximately 45 minutes after.
"With inclement weather in the forecast on Sunday, the Vols and Colonels will play a doubleheader on Saturday starting at 1 p.m. EST," Tennessee announced. "Game 2 will begin approximately 45 minutes following the conclusion of the first contest.
"Tickets purchased for Saturday and Sunday's games will be good for both games of Saturday's doubleheader."
Tennessee won the series opener, 10-0, in a run-rule decision. A record crowd of 6,977 were in attendance on opening day at Lindsey Nelson Stadium.
Friday marked the Vols' first game under head coach Josh Elander.
