Day 3 of the Men’s College World Series started with a thrilling elimination game between Troy and Ole Miss, as the Trojans fell behind 6-2 before exploding for a 12-8 win.
Now it’s time for the nightcap, with Carolina and West Virginia facing off in a 1-0 game. Whoever comes out on top will be one win away from the championship series, while the loser will have to win three games in as many days to stay alive. In case you missed it, Thomas Blackington had a preview of the Mountaineers on Thursday (they beat Troy 7-5 in their opener on Friday), and Al Hood had the broadcast details this morning.
