The North Carolina Tar Heels will open up their 2026 ACC Tournament on Friday morning against Virginia Tech.
In a game that was scheduled for the afternoon, the game has moved to the morning with a start time of 11 a.m. ET against the Hokies. North Carolina is playing some of their best baseball of the season recently, coming off another series win in the conference against NC State.
But Friday's opener for the Tar Heels won't be an easy one. They can't look past Virginia Tech, which beat Notre Dame 17-10 on Wednesday. The Hokies already have a win under their belt and are looking to play spoiler.
