The North Carolina Tar Heels enter a very important week as they have two road games. With the regular season winding down, North Carolina is still aiming for a double bye in the ACC Tournament.
They are also looking to improve their NCAA Tournament resume.
Going into Tuesday night, the Tar Heels are currently a No. 6 seed in Joe Lunardi's latest Bracketology, released earlier in the morning. UNC is trending down as they entered last week as a No. 4 seed.
But after a loss to Miami and now with Caleb Wilson hurt, Lunardi has moved UNC to that six seed. The good news is that they have the chance to improve that seed as they face off against NC State, which is in Lunardi's field as a No. 8 seed.
With UNC being a No. 6 seed, they are set to face off against the winner of No. 11 Santa Clara or No. 11 TCU after the play-in round. The Tar Heels are in the East Region, which also includes No. 1 Duke, No. 2 Illinois, No. 3 Kansas, and No. 4 Alabama.
