Caden Glauber, Tyler Howe and Jackson Rose were impressive as freshmen to help UNC baseball reach the College World Series for the second time in three years.
Glauber was the ACC Freshman of the Year and All-American as a pitcher, Howe was an every-day starter in the outfield and Rose became one of UNC’s most dependable arms out of the bullpen.
Following a 54-win season and appearance in the national championship series in Omaha, head coach Scott Forbes and the Tar Heels are reloading through the transfer portal and with their 2026 recruiting class, which is at 12 as of June 30.
