Hawaii’s Lilian Turban placed 30th in the javelin at the NCAA West First Round Outdoor Track and Field Championships on Thursday in Fayetteville, Ark.

Turban, a senior from Tallinn, Estonia, posted a mark of 151 feet, 2 inches on her third and final attempt of the day. She fouled on her first attempt and recorded a 150-1 on her second.

Rainbow Wahine Robyn Larkan was a late scratch in the 100-meter hurdles Thursday.

On Saturday, Turban will compete in the high jump, with UH teammates Tara Wyllie in the triple jump and Samaria Vital throwing the discus.
