The Big West Conference on Tuesday named Hawaii senior Lilian Turban its Field Athlete of the Week coming off last weekend’s UCR Spring Classic.
Turban won two events — the high jump and javelin — clearing 5 feet, 10.5 inches — in the high jump and throwing the javelin 157 feet, 10 inches.
The honor was the sixth of Turban’s career.
