UFC Vegas 114 Fight Card: Main Event

Josh Emmett (19-6) ended a two-fight losing skid in December 2023 with a brutal knockout win over Bryce Mitchell at UFC 296. The stoppage, which came at the 1:57 mark of the first round, earned Emmett his fifth UFC fight-night bonus in his past seven outings.

The 41-year-old Emmett did not step back into the Octagon until April 2025 when he dropped a decision to Lerone Murphy. Then, in October of last year, Emmett lost to Youssef Zalal via submission.

Kevin Vallejos (17-1) has one loss on his record, a September 2023 decision setback to Jean Silva on a Dana White’s Contender Series card. Vallejos went back to competing for Samurai Fight House after that, earning to stoppage wins before he got another shot at DWCS. He made that opportunity count, beating Cam Teague via TKO. Vallejos is 3-0 since then, earning those victories in 2025. In his most recent outing, Vallejos picked up a “Performance of the Night” bonus for his December knockout win over Giga Chikadze.
