Alberto Montes keeps snapping necks and cashing checks.

Montes (11-1 MMA, 1-0 UFC) whipped up his signature anaconda choke (announced as D'Arce choke by Bruce Buffer) on Ricky Turcios (12-6 MMA, 2-4 UFC) to secure the submission win at the 0:40 mark of Round 2 Saturday at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.

Montes made good on his UFC debut after securing a contract through Dana White's Contender Series in October 2024. The Venezuelan fighter's five past wins have come by his signature move.
