On Friday morning in Thailand, in front of just 1,500 people, Tyson Fury defeated Maurisz Wach inside the distance at the Max Muaythai Stadium in Pattaya.
Fury, the former unified heavyweight world champion, dominated Poland's Wach and forced the 46-year-old to retire on his stool at the end of Round 7.
Fury's under-the-radar fight with Wach was not shown live on television but will be featured on the latest season of his Netflix series "At Home With The Furys" in the coming months.
With the win, Fury (36-2-1, 25 KOs) has done his part in setting up a mega-fight with British rival Anthony Joshua later this year. Joshua, however, must first defeat Kristian Prenga on Saturday in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.
Wach (39-14, 20 KOs) has now lost eight out of his past 11 fights.
