Suns fans definitely hated the Nash pick and were crazy about Mario Bennett.

I liked Mario Bennett a lot. Saw him play live at ASU. He was definitely a top pick if he were healthy. However, Bennett suffered a serious injury before entering the NBA. At #27 in the 1995 NBA Draft he was a worthy pick.

Loved the Steve Nash pick at #15 in the 1996 Draft. He was considered to be a safe pick. All he needed was playing time. That's why he did so well in Dallas. What a team doesn't want to do is swing and miss.

Why? Wasn't you arguing that he could not beat out Milroe? Not what he later became.

I know I made that argument and again part of why I made it is there were reports before the draft that a bunch of Alabama's Wr's were going to transfer out if Milroe came back. People have disputed that report but it was out there before the draft

I don't read everything here is there actual discussion that Burrow might get traded? I've seen people refer to it but I just can't imagine he would be.

Ill draft him in a ps5 madden 26 cards franchise see how he does:))

He has to w more than 3 gms rightttt... lol
sigh

Be nice to see cards have a tall pocket passin qb again
He’s only 6’2”, which means he’s 6’1”. Not sure what to think of him. If he played for Colorado State he’d be a day two candidate.

"I know personally [the Rams] like Ty Simpson. When you look at his skillset and you think about his makeup, that's exactly what they're looking for."

The Rams have the 13th & 29th picks in the 1st round.

I just have a feeling the kid is going to rise hard in the pre-draft process. I firmly understand why people here don't want to pull the trigger at #3, but I also don't see how we could move up from the top of the 2nd to realistically get him when there's three teams in the Dolphins, Rams, and Jets who could take him not that far outside of the top ten.

Just to reiterate, this isn't me planting my flag for Ty Simpson as a pro. It's simply, if our staff likes him, I don't think we can afford to try to get cute.

I feel like this is one of the few set ups that Ty Simpson could work in, sit behind stafford for a year and improve his game

We gotta hope the Jets scoop him up and ruin him. There are rumors the Rams want him and they have two 1sts. I could see him working out if he got to sit behind Stafford for 2-3 years.

IMO Cards won't waste their #3 pick on Simpson but take a qb to develop on Day 2 of the draft. Nussmeier, Beck and Allar are potential QB candidates to watch.

15 games as a starter - please tell me the top 3 most successful NFL QB's with >=15 starts before playing in the NFL?

Not saying he can't do it but its like buying a powerball ticket.
