During a recent appearance on ‘The Rich Eisen Show,’ acting legend Henry Winkler expressed his admiration for Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes and his hope that Mahomes will accept his dinner invitation.

“So I got to meet (Patrick Mahomes), you know, because of you (Rich Eisen), I got to meet the great Patrick Mahomes,” said Winkler, who wore a Chiefs T-shirt. “The man never has come to my house for dinner.”

Eisen explained to Winkler that the Chiefs didn’t play in Los Angeles last season because the Chargers’ home game was Week 1 in Brazil. There will be two opportunities for the Chiefs in Los Angeles this season, with matchups against the Los Angeles Chargers and Los Angeles Rams, potentially including a visit from Mahomes.

“He is wonderful. I am so sorry he (Mahomes) got hurt. I want to tell you something,” said Winkler. “I know that the man was never Bar Mitzvahed, because honestly, anybody else being that hurt, playing that hard, I cannot imagine it. I would just fall to the turf and cry.”

In Week 13, the Chiefs will visit the Rams, and in Week 17, the Chargers will host the Chiefs at SoFi Stadium.
