Rookie qb with a dumb mistake. However you have an entire coaching staff watching this unfold. At the very least they should have called a time out with no less than 12 seconds.

Man I hate mike McCarthy. he is a terrible play caller. he should have been fired on the spot after that last sequence. literally needed 5-10 yards to give his kicker a chance and he leaves one of his best offensive players off the field for that sequence.

Oh, I get it. He obviously lost track of the clock. But you have grown ass adult coaches who can call a time out just sitting there watching the clock bleed away. No wonder they hate Eberflus in Chicago.

Generally you take a timeout after your QB gets smoked and have receivers downfield but he should’ve snapped it sooner. Just seems like a poorly coached team all around.
