The USA's magic run in the World Cup hit a pothole in the final Group stage match on Thursday at Los Angeles Stadium. Turkey got a goal late in extra time and took a 3-2 result over the USMNT.

The victory didn't help Turkey, which heads home. The USA had already won its Group and the game wasn't going to change anything as it heads to the Knockout Round. Up next for the USA is Bosnia-Herzegovenia in Santa Clara on Wednesday in the round of 32.

This is a win-or-go-home match and the USA would have liked to have gone through the Group stage undefeated for the first time but it was not meant to be.
