Dallas Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott faces a unique situation on his current offensive roster. Most NFL teams struggle to keep one great wide receiver happy during a long season. Dallas must satisfy two dominant targets who constantly demand the football from Prescott.
Many wondered how the chemistry would hold up over time. Star targets CeeDee Lamb and George Pickens both demand maximum targets every single week. Former Pittsburgh player George Pickens arrived with a reputation for public frustration.
Locker room tension never shattered the roster despite heavy media speculation. Both elite pass catchers passed the 1,000-yard receiving mark last year. George Pickens secured a career best 1,429 yards for the team. CeeDee Lamb managed 1,077 yards despite missing 3 games with an injury.
Hall of Fame quarterback Troy Aikman shared his thoughts on ESPN. Troy Aikman explained that managing elite personalities requires top leadership skills. The franchise legend offered major praise for the current Dallas quarterback.
"I think that Dak handles it really well," Troy Aikman said. "Him being a veteran guy, and also his leadership skills come out in those situations because all receivers, they do want the ball."

The legend noted that keeping every weapon happy remains a difficult chore. He praised the pass catchers for staying on the same page. Troy Aikman believes Dak Prescott deserves credit for serving as the ultimate facilitator.
"I think Dak manages that exceptionally well," Troy Aikman stated.
The offense excelled but a weak defense cost Dallas a playoff spot. The team ended with a disappointing 7-9-1 record last season. Fans hope new defensive coordinator Christian Parker can fix the struggling unit. Success will require defensive stops rather than just massive passing statistics.
