The LSU Tigers have added another top international prospect to the first roster in Will Wade's return. This time, it's Croatian pro center Michael Ružić, per insider Jon Rothstein.

Ružić has been projected as an NBA draft pick in the past, but has withdrawn from the process each time. At 19, he preferred continuing to develop in Spain rather than joining the NBA. Now, he heads to the US to play college basketball.

The 7-foot, 230-pound center averaged 6.5 points and 3.8 rebounds on 54.7% from the field in 17.5 minutes per game last season for Joventut in Liga Endesa.

The most exciting thing is that he does have a little bit of a shooting edge to him, shooting 40.7% on 1.1 attempts per game last season. In his career, he has shot 37.6% on 1.5 attempts. That's 50-of-133, which is a legitimate sample size of in-game action. He's not a volume shooter, but he will force teams to defend him from three and open up space in the paint.

As of now, the Tigers' front court looks to be the strength of the team. They have a good mix of hard-nosed defenders and floor spacers. Ružić offers a nice combination of size and shooting that they didn't really have in one player beforehand.

One advantage to Ružić is that there will be zero question about his eligbility, which cannot be said of a lot of the players that Wade is looking to add to the roster. They can count on having the Croatian native, no matter what.
