JOHNSTOWN, Pa. – Nick Jarmain potted a pair of goals and also added an assist as the Johnstown Tomahawks bounced back from Friday’s loss with a 6-2 victory over the New Jersey Titans Saturday at 1st Summit Arena @ Cambria County War Memorial.

Jarmain struck first at 11:21 of the opening period with assists from Charlie Zetterkvist and Emerson Marshall helping to level the game at 1-all.

Jarmain capped the Tomahawks’ three-goal second period with a power-play marker at 19:24 with assists credited to Jack Sullivan and Justin Chiras. That goal made it 5-2 after 40 minutes.

Sullivan (11:47, first), Marshall :)55, second) and Zetterkvist (3:52, second) scored in between Jarmain’s 23rd and 24th goals of the season.

A strike from Aaron Bleier at 7:04 of the third capped the scoring and allowed the Tomahawks to draw within a point of New Jersey for fifth place in the NAHL’s East Division.

Zack Ferris stopped 20 of New Jersey’s 22 shots on goal, with Nikolas Doumas (6:29, first) and Skogen Schrott (5:54, second) scoring for the Titans.

New Jersey’s Andrew Bely halted 26 shots.

Johnstown travels to Maryland at 7:30 p.m. Friday.
