How about greatest football player ever? I used to firmly believe it was Jim Brown or perhaps Jerry Rice or Joe Montana. However how can anyone really ever again even approach TB12s greatness—it’s absolutely staggering.
Kinda like the Wilt versus Russel debate. Russel could arguably be the greatest Center of all time with 10 rings. But if I were starting a franchise, I would pick Wilt over him every time.

I think BA telling his entire staff they are free to seek jobs elsewhere says Brady is done & BA likely as well

Jerry Rice or Adrian Peterson were the best football players I’ve ever seen.

Rice had the hands, leaping ability, incredible toughness going over the middle and the most deceptive breakaway speed of all time. Also, never made a stink like a diva about anything and played best in the biggest games.
No doubt they were dominant!
My picks would be LT, Brady & Rice

I would imagine Brady is just waiting until after Friday (Feb 4th) when he collects 15m of his 20m bonus from last year:

End of an era. The most dominating run we will ever see by a QB. I just dont see circumstances lining up again to create a situation where Brady can matched. You would need an elite QB, coupled with arguably the best defensive HC in the NFL, plus a weak division, plus incredible longevity from both, plus a team that could reinvent itself time and time again.

One incredible thing about Brady was how many different ways he did it. Running game, two TE, Deep bombs to Moss, slot WR's like Welker, Eldeman, etc.

The only constants in that Patriots dynasty were Brady and Bellicek.

Im legit sad. Dude destroyed the league and pushed Father Time to the limit. He could easily play another few seasons at a high level, but good for him for going out on his own terms

The other oft overlooked piece of the Patriots run was that because Brady had a wife that outearned him, he took a reduced salary in order to build a more competitive team. He was never close to being the highest paid QB while in NE.
