The Word Cup just produced one of the most improbable comebacks ever witnessed, and it just so happened to take place inside of the Atlanta Falcons' home stadium. Lionel Messi helped Argentina overcome a 2-0 deficit in the 79th minute to secure a 3-2 victory over Egypt in Tuesday's World Cup knockout match.

It wasn't long before the win drew comparisons to another infamous comeback. The New England Patriots' Super Bowl victory over the Falcons is widely considered the greatest comeback in sports history. Tom Brady led the Patriots back from a 28-3 third-quarter deficit to secure a 34-28 overtime win.

After Argentina defeated Egypt, Brady hopped on social media to declare the World Cup game as the new greatest comeback ever.

"Yeah, so that might top 28-3," Brady posted following Tuesday's World Cup match.

How would you rank these 1–3?

The Falcons would likely be glad to never discuss their Super Bowl loss again. The team made the playoffs the following season in 2017, but Atlanta hasn't gone back in the eight years since. Perhaps 2026 will finally be the year that the Falcons get back to the postseason.
