This is terrible news. Hopefully it doesn't affect his value in free agency or ability to play.

I think Monty gets too much criticism, although he tends to be a player's coach, in that he wants the players to figure it out on the fly and sometimes calls timeouts too late.

He is really a good motivator. With a veteran team, hopefully they can better figure out things on the court.
