The Minnesota Timberwolves entered Game 4 of their first-round playoff series against the Los Angeles Lakers holding a 2-1 lead. After a commanding 117-95 victory in Game 1, Minnesota stumbled in Game 2, falling 94-85. However, they regained momentum with a 116-104 win in Game 3, propelled by Jaden McDaniels' 30 points and Anthony Edwards' 29-point, eight-rebound, and eight-assist performance.

Edwards has been instrumental throughout the series. In Game 1, he recorded 22 points, nine assists, and eight rebounds. Despite the Game 2 loss, he contributed 24 points, six rebounds, and four assists. His consistent performance continues to prove his vital role in the Timberwolves' playoff aspirations.
