It's been more than two months since Woods was arrested for DUI following a two-car crash near his home on Jupiter Island. His only communication had been a statement after his release from jail.

On Memorial Day, Woods posted on X: "My father was a Special Forces operator with two tours in Vietnam and 20 years of service. To all those like my father, we all say thank you for your sacrifices. Without them we wouldn't have the greatest country on Earth."

Woods, 50, was arrested March 27. He had been granted permission to leave the country to receive "comprehensive inpatient treatment" after being charged with suspicion of driving under the influence. His plane landed in Zurich, Switzerland on April 3, and he had not been seen in public until being photographed at the West Palm Beach International Airport on May 13.

Woods announced on March 31 that he would be stepping away from golf for an undetermined period of time, calling it "necessary in order for me to prioritize my well-being and work toward lasting recovery."
