The Oklahoma City Thunder held practice on Monday. They're fresh off a historic 131-80 Game 1 win over the Memphis Grizzlies on Sunday to go up 1-0 in their Round 1 playoff series.

Thunder head coach Mark Daigneault, Isaiah Hartenstein and Aaron Wiggins talked to the local media after practice. They're preparing for the Grizzlies to play much better in Game 2 after being down by as many as 56 points on Sunday.

All three discussed Lu Dort not being named a finalist for Defensive Player of the Year. The Thunder campaigned hard for him to be nominated but fell just short. Hartenstein even teased that they should start a podcast ala Draymond Green to create buzz.

Here's a recap of the Thunder's Apr. 21 Monday playoff practice:

Aaron Wiggins on Lu Dort not being a DPOY finalist: “I think it’s insane. I do think there a lack of — I don’t wanna say attention to our team — but in terms of the way we played statistically defensively and the year we had, that doesn’t happen without elite defensive players.” pic.twitter.com/Gq2A1mzQo8

Isaiah Hartenstein: “We go day by day and that’s what you need in the playoffs. When you win a game, you’re the best thing ever. When you lose a game, you’re the worst thing ever. We’re just always even keeled. No matter win or loss.”

Isaiah Hartenstein on what they expect in Game 2 “Their best shot. We expect them better than they were yesterday. That’s the playoffs. One game doesn’t really matter. You got to come in consistently each game and stay focused.”

Isaiah Hartenstein on the Thunder playoff crowd: “Our fans came out. It was great. They’ve been great all year. In the playoffs, they step it up a little bit. It was a great atmosphere.”

Aaron Wiggins on if their Game 1 win was a statement: “Nah just haven’t played in a week and a half. Everybody I think was kinda ready and anxious to get on the court. Get that game going and kick off the playoffs.”

Mark Daigneault on Aaron Wiggins: “He’s a guy from Day 1, you can put him in any situation and he seems to adapt to it and thrive in it. That muscle has grown over time. Not everybody handles that really and he’s elite at it.”
