The NBA Finals looked to be a rather ho-hum affair after the New York Knicks won the first two games in San Antonio. Then the series shifted to New York and everything changed.
Game 3 featured a visit by President Trump, not to mention an accompanying security boost that created all sorts of chaos for anyone trying to attend. A watch party scheduled for outside Madison Square Garden was moved to nearby Bryant Park and a different kind of chaos broke out there. Oh, and the Knicks lost to the San Antonio Spurs, ensuring that the series would stretch at least into the weekend.
If you thought Game 3 was wild, it was nothing compared to Game 4, when the Knicks rallied from a 29-point deficit to stun the Spurs and move one win away from a championship. This still might be a relatively quick series if New York can wrap things up in Saturday’s Game 5, but it can no longer be considered ho-hum.
We’ll hit on the finals in this week’s quiz, but of course that’s just a start. Good luck as you dive in this week! Feel free to share your score in the comments and make sure to try out our daily Connections: Sports Edition, too!
