We already have some good young talent at wide reciever...all we needed was one maybe 2 veterans at wr to secure this position. Instead we draft 2 more younger guys who are pretty much the same mold as a reciever and this leaves the Cards with a crappy D-line...the worst in the league. Teams are gonna have a field day against our Defense next year. Hey, what do you say the cards draft another 6'1" 220lb posession type receiver in the 3rd....who needs Defense!!!!!!!
The cards should have gone with 3 Defensive guys thus far!

They are done with the Wr's. I like Boldin. He is physical and a good blocker. Johnson could develop into a deep threat. The guy that will out leap DB's for a jump ball. It will take a season or two before they are difference makers...at least that is what history will tell us.

Yeah...that may be good, but we still won't be able to get to the qb or stuff the run, or stop on decent offensive attacks with what we have now or with what is remaining in the draft!

well obviously, we thought the WR's were better than the Defensive guys left... that is the way you have to draft... Talent over need...

I know that it is hard to think this way right now, but just because a guy is not a 1st or 2nd rounder doesn't mean he wouldn't be able to provide a pass rush.

Yeah, that's fine and he may add a couple sacks to our pathetic yearly total, but when you pass on the NCAA Sack leader it doesn't matter what he does. The only consolation now will be if Suggs has a sucky season (which he won't).

If it will take a season or two for any of our picks to contribute then Mac is a goner.

I like Boldin also. But...He would have been available at 37 maybe even Johnson. I would have much rather have Suggs/Williams/Kennedy than what we have now.
