3/30/22 - Sans Cam Johnson & JaVale McGee, the Phoenix #Suns won their 62nd game for the 3rd time ever, this one in a dirty, ugly, 107-103 victory at the Steph Curry-less Golden State Warriors. Book: 22p, 23.8% FG%. Bridges: 22p/7r. DA: 16p/16r. Poole: 38p/9r/7a.

3/30/73 - After five coaches in 5yrs (including two Jerry Colangelo interim stints), the Phoenix #Suns hired John MacLeod as HC (34), a position he would hold for nearly 15yrs. MacLeod signed a 3yr, $126K contract. MacLeod had been HC at Oklahoma at $18K in '72-73.
That sounds familiar. It's kind of funny too. I have likened Coach Ott to John MacLeod in the past. Both mid-country with similar voice cadences. I also hope Coach Ott has a John MacLeod type reign as head coach here.

I feel like this is going to be a painful thread...

Especially in the spring.

"31 years ago today Mario Elie caused you to question if there is any good in the world."

"21 years ago today Robert Horry caused irreversible damage to your ability to trust any idea of justice!"

We don't have to post those! I'd prefer to forget. You're not helping!

4/2/80 - During Game One of the First Round, The Gorilla made his first appearance. The man in the suit was Henry Rojas and was an Eastern Onion telegram singer who danced at the baseline during a timeout of the #Suns' 96-93 win, quickly becoming a fan favorite.
