Yeah, the shine's starting to come off Gunn for me. Shelves his best DC property (Peacemaker) for years, and now his second best isn't "canon?" It's "imperfect memory?" I'll remember you for GooG, James, and for the good things you manage to do. The DCEU isn't going to be one of them.

Can’t say I blame them. Supes was good-ish, but didn’t set the world on fire and season 2 of Peacemaker really wasn’t “it”. Not sure his overall tone works for an entire MCU.

But another full reboot… that mean this Superman is already gonzo? What about Patts Bats… if he ever even returns?

I don't know what Gunn is thinking. Netflix or Paramount (or whomever ends up with WB) really needs to the DC stuff cleaned up. It's one of the biggest IP wastes around.
