Most of us called it. The Ayton we knew would emerge. The hilarious spin that it's "human nature" for Ayton's rebounding production to slip. In other words, when Ayton pouts he doesn't give any effort. Not a revelation to Suns fans. Now the Lakers are talking about aquiring another Center/big man to back up Ayton. Basically....put him on the bench when the version of IAytonplaying emerges.

“I think he’s frustrated. He doesn’t feel like he’s getting the ball.” – JJ Redick on Deandre Ayton’s recent performances. Redick added that it’s “human nature” for Ayton’s rebounding production to dip if he doesn’t feel involved.

Is the front office debAyton on going after him?

Don't think I have ever seen an owner do this.

But in this case it makes total sense, the same reason the Lakers want him is the same reason we aren't interested in trading him.

Even though you had the owner came out and shut down rumors, you have this report.

I have to say that this Reaves-for-Brooks trial balloon from Lukas fans (not from the Lukas FO, as far as I know) left me incredulous, for reminding me what a bunch of spoiled brats those people are. They have no idea how to handle adversity but to order it to stop immediately.

It's not that I think the Suns would inexplicably do it, it's that I'm laughing at the idea. Trading Brooks for Reaves is like trading a steak for a can of SPAM. Or, it's like two kids sitting in a school cafeteria, with one asking the other to trade lunches because he--the one asking to trade--has inferior and unappetizing food. (Does anyone remember this type of scene in Uncle Buck?)

Please go away, Lukas fans. You look like dweebs for this. It doesn't impress anyone that you sit in the same arena with that obnoxious Jack Nicholson. Or that your franchise got away with fleecing others any number of times before. Not this time.

wow

The Bucks recently made calls to the Phoenix Suns, checking in on the availability of Jalen Green, sources said. However, the Suns are not interested in moving the young guard and view him as a potential deadline addition for themselves when he returns from injury," Siegel reports.

With the emergence of Gillespie and Goodwin and a near-return of Jalen Green, we're pretty stacked at guard. We could move Richards and Allen to Chicago in return for Sticks. He's definitely depth and gives us that role of a legit stretch 4.

Per Shams Charania, the Hawks are trading Trae Young to the Wizards for CJ McCollum and Corey Kispert.
