trade deadline is feb 5th - we have a month to showcase richards - center will be in high demand and... i didn't want to say anything till ronin posted this thread but richards was not happy walking off the court last night - they showed him for all of 3 seconds but it was more than enough time to pick up my man's vibe

richards played his best basketball in his last outing (imo) but hasn't seen the court in the last 2 games - this tells us a lot (imo) but mainly that ott is all in on oso- and maluach for that matter because it was manman getting garbage minutes at the end

now i don't know if richards feels some type of way about not getting playing time - but i do know there are teams that will give him playing time and we need draft pick(s) not to mention contracts for gillespie and ye

what im saying is we're already locked and loaded - i don't see us going after anybody- im hoping we take care of our own because honestly they've more than earned that ish

I hope there's nothing really to this.

I don’t love playing with our chemistry, but that’s not a terrible deal. Brooks just turned 29. Rui is bigger and two years younger. Knetch would be a nice young reclamation project. Thise types of swings are necessary with our dearth of first round picks. And the lakers first round pick helps us slowly rebuild our draft capital. It’s not a home run deal, but I don’t hate it b

There is nothing to this.

We're better than the Lakers, they have nothing to offer us, we have no incentive to get worse.

The Suns don't have the luxury of long term thinking because they're so immensely leveraged.

Unless they are offered an absolute bonanza of a trade, I cannot imagine them trading their top guys.

I think Allen and/or O'Neale are available, if this team ever gets healthy one of them has to go to open up space. Outside of that, I don't see a big move. Outside of Richards either getting waived or traded for a 2nd round pick.

i keep reading grayson might be available but idk - i think ott's really missed having grayson these last couple weeks but then again jalen is due back before the trade deadline - we might be listening but i doubt we're shopping especially with us struggling from 3 recently

Every year, something like this rumor emerges for the Lakers - Team A is going to give away whatever very good player who's having a very good season to the Lakers for a fistful of penny candy.

Admittedly, sometimes it does actually happen... because of shady reasons that are never abundantly explainable. But this is like clockwork every damn year because the media (and the NBA itself, apparently) has just decided the Lakers should always be gifted whatever they want.

Most of us called it. The Ayton we knew would emerge. The hilarious spin that it's "human nature" for Ayton's rebounding production to slip. In other words, when Ayton pouts he doesn't give any effort. Not a revelation to Suns fans. Now the Lakers are talking about aquiring another Center/big man to back up Ayton. Basically....put him on the bench when the version of IAytonplaying emerges.

“I think he’s frustrated. He doesn’t feel like he’s getting the ball.” – JJ Redick on Deandre Ayton’s recent performances. Redick added that it’s “human nature” for Ayton’s rebounding production to dip if he doesn’t feel involved.

I think the people most likely to be moved are Richards, Livers and Davis.

Shocker might be Dunn if some team offers us a huge ransom with 1 or 2 picks.

Redick hates him he’s just classing it up.
