I was listening on the way home. Roy Green had nothing but good to say about McCown. Maybe there is something to him we haven't seen yet?

He is excited about playing/learning from J.Blake.

Joyner asks him what McGinnis told him about competition w/ Blake.

McCown is stuttering through Blake giving the team the best chance to win. Dodged the question.

Blake will be the starter. (duh).

McCown will work on finding a groove, what does is take to be successful.


I think he was set up to interview as if we didn't sign Blake.


Comparion between Blake/Flutie, Brees/McCown situation.


This announcer sucks. I hate his questions. McCown is hard to understand.


Joyner going out of a limb: McCown is one of his favorite players, and gave him a tip:

Go to defensive meetings to learn how to read defenses...

Yeah, I almost never listen to that show...they are horrible.

When Garibaldi and Green/Joyner or whoever come on, it is more of a patronizing lecture to young players rather than a true interview. They like hearing themselves talk rather than trying to gain some insight.

Thank goodness they have Jurecki's show in the am...they TRY to talk about other sports, but you can tell it is 100% NFL
