The Houston Rockets were said to be interested in acquiring Jaylen Brown earlier this summer, as they hope to build around Kevin Durant toward the end of his career. Although Brown may be difficult to pry away from the Celtics, NBA insider Kevin O'Connor revealed Thursday that the task is not impossible.

O'Connor reported that Jayson Tatum is the only untouchable on Boston's roster. While O'Connor references that Brown's availability is likely hinging on a possible Giannis Antetokounmpo trade, the fact that Boston will take calls on Brown has to be encouraging for Houston's front office. That said, if the Rockets are bidding against the Bucks, they'll likely have to sweeten their deal to include more than just Jabari Smith Jr., who is rumored to be available this summer.
