All signs are pointing to a very active draft regarding trades. There are a lot of rumors flying around, maybe it would be best if all the rumors and trades were put in one thread to make it easy for all of us to keep track.

Trades: Asante Samuel to Falcons for 7th round pick

Rumors: Jets interested in trading up for Richardson

Bills interested in trading up for Kalil

Cowboys may be interested in moving up for Barron

Coming up on NFL Network Total Access they had a tease banner that said the Eagles and....THE CARDINALS are looking to trade up. Could it be Michael Floyd???

Jason LaConfora- said if Floyd is still there at 10 the Cards will look up to get him because the Bills are open for trading down and according to Laconfora the Cards "love him and covet him" if he's not available they are looking to trade down and are looking for a value OLineman pick like Mike Adams.

As far as trades, I think our best targets are the Chargers at 18 and the Patriots at 27.

Chargers will prob be a 3rd, try for a 2nd.

Pats could easily be 2 2nds (they have mulitple)

Heard reports they were interested in moving up in the drafts (way up). Dont know for who. But I think we, at 13, are the lowest and the only pick where they wouldnt have to give up a future 1 to move down.

Id take the 27th and 2 2nds in a heart beat. Man that could be a turning point.

I can see the Cowboys trading with the Chiefs to grab Barron.

I don't see the Cardinals moving up to get Floyd.

Apparently Pats have called all of the teams between 10 and 13 to judge what it would take to trade up. For whom though......

My guess would be Melvin Ingram. They have a need at OLB and love players who are scheme versatile which is Ingram to a tee.

They also prefer HIGH scores on the Wonderlic as well. Ingram may be a versitile scheme player, but what was his score?

To adapt quickly to different scheme's like Ingram can, you have to be a smart football player and thats the type of thing the Patriots and other teams will look at regardless of wonderlic score.

I'd take Pats two 1st - get John Martin and BPA - poss 2 tackles....

draft should be fun

re: wonderlic- Cam Newton sucked at it....sure meant a lot ...as he sucked this past year (sarcasm)....that test hasn't proven one player who scored bad as to be a bad NFL player.

The Pats only have 6 picks in this years draft so Bellicheat must be scheming how to fix this. Of course all these picks are in the top 4 rounds (two 1's and 2's, one 3rd & 4th).

They only have 5 picks in 2013 so there is zero doubt in my mind that they will trade down this year to get extra picks over the next two years.

Even thought the new CBA takes away the money negative of trading up in the 1st rd and means the Pats may break tradition and actualy trade up I kinda doubt it will happen this year. If they do then it won't be into the top 15 and they will absolutely trade away/back some of their other 3 high picks.

Exactly. No-one has proven that correlation yet.

That could screw up our chances of moving down. I'm hearing that they're interested in DL as well. Cox has been mentioned going there. So this could be a lot of hot air anyhow. I think they'd like either one though.

Or it could be great for us. At the least, if Dallas wants Barron and thinks others will trade with us to jump ahead of them, we could pick up a 3rd (hold their feet to the fire). At best, a team like N.E. thinks Dallas will take him, and offers us a ton (2nd, 3rd, 5th maybe?) for us to drop back late in the 1st round.

Who knows? This first round should be a blast!

Patriots talk to Seahawks about trading up to 12 in order to get Mark Barron.
They will give up their 2 first rounders to move up.

Cards should use this as an incentive to other teams trying to move.

Both Somers and Jurecki think it's more likely the Cardinals stay at 13 then move down. I'm starting to agree. Rod rarely seems to trade down and Seattle has been putting the word out they want to trade down along with the rest of the teams above us, Buffalo, Jax, etcetera.

JAX just traded up to #5.. with 6 elite prospects, surprised that TB would move down to 7. Didn't get a ton for it, either.
