Saw this in early April when I was down in Arizona and watching Project Hail Mary at the big Harkins IMAX at Arizona Mills. The lengthy prologue was jaw dropping in that format.
I'm beyond watching trailers for movies I'm already going to see because of the ubiquitous spoilers in trailers these days. I have my worries about this one but will watch anyway.
They need to stop releasing trailers. The more they show the more it doesn't look favorable.
I’m sure the directors hate it but in the social media/trending era you need to release a mini movie. I remember when big studios would release literal teasers.

Tough call for me...generally, professional critics and I look for different things in movies and their disdain usually indicates a movie I am going to love.
