I'm starting to get a bad feeling about this one. Something just feels off about it. I don't have a smoking gun on why. It's more like there's a thousand little things that my brain is adding up to cause it. Hopefully I'm wrong since I love the big historical epics and would love to see Hollywood make more of them again.

I got none of that. I see an amazing director telling an amazing story with an amazing cast.

Yeah I’m getting the same vibe.

Travis Scott? Yikes. To me that’s a hype casting. If he went with ASAP Rocky, Andre3000 or someone like that if he wanted to do rap then ok but Travis Scott is so odd IMO

Saw the six minute IMAX prologue before Way Of Water 2 tonight and all I can say is…

NOW. GIVE IT TO ME NOW.
Saw this in early April when I was down in Arizona and watching Project Hail Mary at the big Harkins IMAX at Arizona Mills. The lengthy prologue was jaw dropping in that format.

I don’t think this trailer that’s been posted looks all that great. But that being said I will watch it.

I'm beyond watching trailers for movies I'm already going to see because of the ubiquitous spoilers in trailers these days. I have my worries about this one but will watch anyway.

It seemed like the Tom Holland and Robert Pattinson parts might be miscast. I’ll bet on Nolan but I kinda get Gladiator 2 vibes from the trailer.
They need to stop releasing trailers. The more they show the more it doesn't look favorable.
Need to see a cyclops ...not family drama

I’m sure the directors hate it but in the social media/trending era you need to release a mini movie. I remember when big studios would release literal teasers.

welp... gotta start trying to temper my expectations with early reactions from some of my favorite critics singing the praises to the hilltops that Nolan's done it again, with many of them actually signaling out Holland being a stand-out, which has been my biggest question mark going into the movie.

Tough call for me...generally, professional critics and I look for different things in movies and their disdain usually indicates a movie I am going to love. But for some reason the choices in verbiage in these reviews has made my heart flutter just a bit and stoked up my excitement for this movie.
I am kinda glad some of the recent clips disappointed,...the movie could not likely have lived up to the image I had built in my mind over what it is going to be...so reducing those expectations will give the film a bit of needed breathing room in my head, lol...
regardless, I am once again looking forward to the experience.

I would have a hard time picking a better Telemachus than Holland. He basically has to be a smaller guy right off the bet.

I mean likely Chalamet would also be a logical choice but you need an unimposing man that can flip into a hero. It's a tight casting group
