No real mention of this but did anyone else notice (im sure you have and there was som earticles about this) that we have three NT's in the game, and not just on the goaline yet they were getting pushed back 5 yards easily and being run over?

Watching the replay on the very first defensive play of the game, you can see Robinson get driven ten yards off the line, and then pancaked. Disgusting, especially since he shouldn't even be on the team at this point.

Actually a gross over exaggeration!

He actually stands the OL up and hold his ground for a good second. Then as Gore is beside him and passing him on his left he tries to turn and gets off balance and at that time gets driven back(due to bad footwork) long after Gore is already by him. He also only gets driven back 5 yards not 10 and falls to the 7 yard mark due to the pancake at the end. ;)

ALL of our nose tackles were run over on Monday night. Not one of them played well.

Shane is correct. It was Dockett who got blown up and Lenon who got stoned and Hayes,Wilson and Porter who overran the play that were responsible for that ridiculous opening run.

Absolutely astonishing is the fact that once Wilson and Porter ran upfield there were no Cardinal defenders within 50 yards of the los on the second level of defense on the Cards right side. NOBODY.

Well I actually had the turmidity to go back and watch the game again. It was still ugly. One thing that I did notice is that the the team was playing with a different technique than they usually use along the DL. For the last couple of years the team has used an attacking one gap technique. Last night they used a lot of 2 gap technique in an effort to stop the run. That could be the reason why so many times it looked like they were getting pushed around (they actually were) but it was by design it looked like to me. They just were not studs enough to not be manhandled.
