Long snapper is probably one of the least known positions to most fans. Sort of like a set up man in baseball. A player who rarely shows up on the stat sheet but who's one of the most important cogs in the bullpen. It's a specialized position that you simply cannot be just anyone at.

good for him....and us. Solid player. We never notice him, which is the biggest compliment a long snapper can get. You don't notice long snappers until the cost you the game by floating one over the punter/holders head
