IF Rosen is not the guy -- the team will know by this time next year, and; the record will reflect that

with all the QBs coming out -- there will be another bite at the apple for a QBOF


also:
IF there is serious buzz for Haskins, and, the Cards parlay that into an additional #1 for next year -- then the draft capital is there to move wherever the new GM needs to get the QBOF they want

I will give you that but we got very very lucky on Ameer Abdullah. We were on the phone with him when Detroit drafted him.

Taking Abdullah in the second round meant no Marcus Golden or David Johnson. I give him credit for taking DJ after that but holy crap he dodged a major bullet.

If this is true then a lot of teams can wait one year. The Gmen can go with Eli one more year, the Jags can find a one year replacement for Bortles for one year, the Bucs can live with Winston and already stated they plan on it. I'm not personally sold on Haskins. I know everyone drools over his numbers, however he had great protection and often was able to stand in the pocket all day and had very good YAC receivers to throw to. In games I watched him play, if he felt/got pressure and took some hits/sacks he looked pretty ordinary.

Could say the same about most of the QBs in next years class as well. Tua had probably the best OL in the country and yet he still got banged up multiple times and it took him going out of the game and his backup coming in for them to win the conference championship game yet everyone is declaring him a clear franchise QB prospect.

DB. He did draft HB and Baker. Stole HB really. Technically Bucannon too as he was a pretty good safety coming out of college.

But can’t locate a 2nd CB to save his life. Hello Brandon Williams, jamar Cutalready, Bene Cutalready.

“New GM” . . . music to my ears. But man that means suffering through another grueling season . . .

Not at his price. And he's going to want to start if he goes elsewhere. Unless he's willing to renegotiate his Eagles contract and stay there.

That's why I prefaced by saying, if the Cards want a new QB.
