The UFL has announced new rules for its upcoming spring season:
• Tush Push is banned
• 60+ yard FGs worth 4 points
• No punting from inside opposing territory

BREAKING: New #UFL Rules for 2026 The United Football League is rolling out major rule changes for the upcoming season.
1. 60+ yard field goals = 4 points
2. One foot in bounds = catch
3. Red zone penalties revert to half the distance to the goal.
4. The "Tush Push" is eliminated.
5. No punting inside the opponent’s 50-yard line.
6. Overtime: 3 alternating attempts per team from the 5 yard line.
7. Point aftertouchdown options:- 1 point
– Kick from the 33-yard line- 2 points
– Ball on the 2-yard line- 3 points
– Ball on the 8-yard line

As United Football League ownership has announced plans to add two expansion teams in 2028, keep an eye on major markets like Chicago and New York, as potential suitors.
All three cities are building state of the art MLS stadiums over the next few years:
• New York City FC debuting the $780M Etihad Park in 2027
• Chicago’s Fire new $750M stadium set for 2028
Each venue will sit inside mixed use developments in urban environments, perfect for spring football.
Don’t be surprised if the UFL looks to make a splash in a major market as expansion approaches.

The DC Defenders lost a key piece from their 2025 championship run as WR Chris Rowland heads to the Orlando Storm.
Rowland led DC with 42 catches for 522 yards, delivering timely big plays all season.
One name to watch out for to help replace that production is former Florida State WR Ja'Khi Douglas.
A shifty playmaker who can line up in the slot or outside, Douglas gives QB Jordan Ta'amu another weapon on the field
OC Fred Kaiss has been aggressive with his play calling over the years and Douglas gives him what he needs to expand this DC offense.
I love this pickup for DC and can’t wait to see how it plays out.

Worth noting: #Battlehawks HC Ricky Proehl had glowing praise for QB Brandon Silvers & the veteran leadership he's brought to the table in #UFL Camp.Of course, it's still early in camp, but with that A.J. Smith connection...wouldn't be shocked if he's QB1 come March 28th.
