JUST IN: Italy have taken matters into their own hands and have chosen NOT to participate in the 2026 World Cup.They declined the proposal from Donald Trump's envoy to replace Iran.
and a major blow to spurs who are in a relegation fight.xc_hide_links_from_guests_guests_error_hide_media
as I recall we suspected Qatar of paying off FIFA to host the WC. I think later it was proven to be factual. They tried to hide it or shy away from it at least. This is open corruption and attempts to fix results.Wow. Im not sure Americans realize what a big deal that is.
I hope they don't spoil the games for the personFront Office Sports

Fox Sports and Indeed are hiring a "Chief World Cup Watcher" to watch all 104 matches from a custom-built personal office in Times Square for $50,000:
$1,282 a day
$480 a game
$5.34 per game minute
Might be the first time I have agreed with something he said.Square profile picture

President Trump ripped soaring ticket prices for the FIFA World Cup, which will be played primarily in the U.S.
“I wouldn’t pay it either, to be honest.”
I will be surprised if the US makes it out of the Group.xc_hide_links_from_guests_guests_error_hide_media

same, and it's not impossible for them to flop. that could happen to anyone. and there are always surprises at the WC. the question for me is can they beat one of the top teams in the knockout stages. that would be a real turning point for USA. If you go back to 2002, they did beat Portugal and Mexico. Back then Mexico were a very good team expected to make a deep run. USA also would have probably defeated Germany if there was VAR. that is under the assumption that they would have been awarded a penalty and the German player got sent off, which is what should have happened.I'll be surprised if they don't.
lol, like he'd pay regardless. he can just show up if he wants to. he will probably be at the final I would think.Square profile picture
