Chris Boucher is a good signing by the Celtics and cheap on a minimum deal. He plays all three front court positions.

Maybe.

I see Warriors fans complaining they are letting good players pass them by while waiting on Kuminga.

Too bad we are so tight against the cap.

I think the Suns are looking for a trade using Allen and/or O'Neale's contract. Those are not the most attractive contracts.

They aren't that bad. I listened to an NBA analyst who said they are just too long. When they get to two years left they get more attractive. Teams looking to add talent for a playoff run don't want to take on 3 and 4 year contracts. Unless you are a starter. I know the Suns want to trade now, but again, patience seems to be in their best interest. Maybe they will be better able todo it at the trade deadline.

When a team has to wait two years to trade a player because of the amount of salary and the length of the contract, it's a bad contract.

This is one of the reasons the Suns were chasing Kuminga. He filled a need and the Suns lose one or two salaries they don't want.

The Clippers! Geez he is a perfect fit for what they are doing at the The Clippers.

He would definitely be aligned with their focus on collecting All-Star players.

We are good at Center now, but we should be looking for Point Guards, Power Forwards, etc in G League like the Hawks did.

I think we need a veteran PG like a Mike Conley if one is available to help provide a steadying hand and mentor our youngsters. I'm not interested in any PG under 30 outside of a camp invite.

We can use a PF. I want @Mainstreet to get his Precious.

If the Suns were able to add Precious Achiuwa, he would provide insurance at the power forward and center positions and possibly be able to start if the need arises.

I'm really not clear how much money the Suns can spend on another player and avoid CBA penalties, even though they are below the luxury tax and first apron. I'm thinking free agent near vet minimum salaries are safe.

Financially speaking, trades might be the better route to go.

We can spend the MLE but if we don't make a trade to lower our salary by seasons end then we'll get hit with some repeater penalties. I think Nick Richards will be traded this year, without a doubt. He's on such a small deal that is expiring that someone will take him on. Teams can use their MLE to absorb salaries in trades now also, which opens up the possibilities when it comes to a team trading for him. We may have to give him away but I wouldn't be against that in February if we needed to in order to avoid repeater penalties.

I wish Precious had a little more range but beggars can't be choosers. He ticks every other box outside of that.
