I was at that game when Ollie came back and the Gorilla did the FAT Ollie skit. I felt for Ollie. I have battled weight all my life. It is a humiliating thing.
I was at that game, too! Took my boys. We didn't know he was playing in that game until we got to the stadium. Most of the fans in my area thought it went too far.

It should have never happened.

Ollie died way too young.

Here is some video that contains the skit.

I went to a game with my kids a couple seasons ago and they had the Grinch Gorilla at the game. The Grinch Gorilla had a huge bag of popcorn he was throwing at people. The grinch Gorilla found a lady wearing a hoodie and started putting popcorn in her hoodie without her knowing it. I got up and casually walked by the Grinch Gorilla and grabbed the popcorn bag and ripped it open as the Grinch Gorilla and I fought over the bag. Then I turned and hustled back to my seat with the Grinch Gorilla and security following me. I sat down and pretended to not now what was going on. The Grinch Gorilla didn't know how to play off what happened, and just kind of wandered away. My two boys were mortified. They didn't say a word. I was chuckling about it for quite a while through the game. Security never said anything to me. I think they still think I'm nuts. LOL!

I have more tolerance for improvised skits, but the Oliver Miller skit was clearly planned.

Golden State with half their roster in flux because of a player they don’t even want.

The days of Bob Myers are over.

This is why the hand wringing over Booker's extension was premature. He was merely the first to sign an exorbitant deal. He won't have a top 5 salary when the extension has actually kicked in.

The Beal buyout may not as bad either as times goes on.

Now that's crazy talk, sir. :doi:

I'm against paying someone to go away. Especially when they're getting twice the MLE. Maybe it does make more sense in 2-3 years. I know expiring deals don't hold much value as guys like Ayton are being bought out. So there's definitely the possibility it becomes more reasonable.

There is inflation in the NBA too, not that I wanted to waive and stretch Beal.
