Nembhard and McConnell are more than capable of running the team, but this hurts.

The Pacers depth will have to step up.

that's just so horrible - score is16 to 18 - pacers had the ball - bench players hadn't even come out yet - freakin bummer

Oh no... his achillies popped... you could see it on the replay...

I don't think I've felt this ill for a player on an opposing team.

The injury could give the Pacers a boost mentally.

Both teams seem kinda shook. The quality of play has gone down the toilet.

First KD, then Tatum, now Halliburton. You think nba teams will finally shut these players with calf strains down playoffs or not?

Add Klay to that list. He popped his right before KD. It may have been right after but I remember it being the same series.

Edit - it was Klay's ACL. He tore his Achilles prior to that injury so I was confused.

it was hali's decision but should've been overruled - i was straight shocked to see him playing in game 6 - that was the game i was worried about but im guessing he didn't push it then with the pacers being so far ahead

A team winning a title in game 7 when their best player goes down with a devastating injury would be one of the crazier scenarios in sports history.
