McConnell finished with 7 turnovers. as someone else said earlier they really allowed OKC to defend him VERY physically tonight. He's a really good role player but I think they wore down without Haliburton

Hats off OKC it'll be interesting to watch if this becomes a dynasty or not. They're so young and elite defense.

Tatum, Hailburton and Lillard, all with torn achillies this playoff.

Brutal for the league next year.

if this is right the nba didn't even average two ruptures per season from 1990 to 2023?

You must be registered for see images attach

but there were 5 ruptures just this year - I believe haliburton makes 6!

Want to give credit to Indiana, a very, very talented, well-coached, and above all, relentless opponent. They were amazing, and if they can keep that side together, they'll be back in the finals before long.

And congrats to the Thunder. Proud of the poise, determination, and teamwork shown by a great group of young men. Also thanks to Sam Presti of course. Hope this is the first of many.

Finally, good luck to the Suns in the draft and offseason! I know you guys are going through a transition year, and apparently have some ownership issues, but it would be some good theater if the 2026 Western Conference Finals featured PHX and OKC. I'd be in here keeping you guys honest for sure. haha. Take care everybody!

And Luguentz Dort and Alex Caruso weren't even drafted.
They said they had 3 undrafted and 5 second round picks in their regular rotation. That’s a great story. And frankly why if you have a great talent evaluator you don’t need the highest picks. SGA was 11, right? I think holmgren was 2 but was anyone else top 5?

It sounds right without looking it up. I've always believed, the best money spent is on the scouting and GM positions.

Sam Presti has now built 2 deep contenders. He has to be in the conversation for best GM of all time. I know OKC didn't win with KD, Russ, Ibaka, and Harden but they made it there. He's drafted 3 different MVP's and acquired by trade another well before he was at that level or thought to get to that level.

Curry going down as well, I know it wasn't against the Thunder but I think the Warriors bulldoze the Wolves if Curry and Butler don't get banged up.

I think even Ant was compromised a bit.

I wonder if there’s some correlation with the negative step and injuries, kd took a slight one. Tatum and Hali did.

You also see this injury a lot in lineman in football. You plant your foot, lunge forward, flex, you stretch your calf and achillies to the max and... poof.

I think a lot of these NBA injuries have been misdiagnosed as calf strains when it's really damage to the tendon. I don't know if Lillard was dealing with "calf" stuff prior to his, but obviously Durant and Haliburton were dealing with such issues.

IMO, a lot of athletes and trainers are putting far too much emphasis on strength, and quick twitch stuff... they are making their muscles too strong and twitchy for the tendons that anchor them to bone. Similar to how the MLB is plagued with pitching injuries because all these guys are trying to throw as hard as they can all the time.

congrats Crimson!

craziest thing about this Thunder is they are likely the going to be the worst of what could be multiple title teams if they stay healthy. Jalen and Chet are only going to get better, especially, Chet. Yeah, they'll likely lose some of their depth down the line, but theyre so stocked with draft picks that they can probably keep plucking the (can't remember the pesky white SG) off with a first rounders or likely hit on some of them, supplanting whatever depth they end up losing.

Hopefully, his finals numbers were not good.

awww! thanks Cheese! very cool man. very cool.

Unfortunately, as a Cardinals fan, I have no idea how to act today! haha. :)

It honestly will be fascinating to watch (up close) how this group of players/coaches/FO persons reacts to reaching the top of the mountain.
