The announcer kept saying the Warriors figured out their zone I disagree they figured out how to guard Houston when they had the 2 bigs with Adams. they went to that funky morphing zone and houston never really figured it out

houston had curry smothered and covered like some waffle house hash browns in the first half then buddy hield happened - rockets eased up on steph in the second half and while going colder than the phx suns from 3

glad warriors are moving on but idk if their making it past minny

Yeah Ant is a tough matchup and Jaden McDaniels has been really good guarding Curry the last couple of years.

Naz Reid is sort of the wildcard. ALso kind of amazing Mike Conley is still in the league, he played with Greg Oden in HS and Oden's like 60

I do, they are not making it past Minny.

Denver is going to get stomped by OKC.

Minny OKC might be somewhat interesting, but I still see OKC winning in 6 or less.

One thing that struck me, late in the game you can see Butler, Curry yelling and then Draymond walks over to join in. They weren't lined up perfectly but honestly Butler looked like he's clearly taller than Draymond. Say what you want about Draymond and all the crazy stuff he does, totally agree, but that man is amazing that he can defend bigs at the level he does at his size.

On the Jalen Green stuff, some guy on Warriors World has been tracking it all series I didn't see the final numbers but when Green goes right he's well over 50%, when he goes left he was like 28 or something close to that and under 20% from 3 when going left. The entire gameplan for the W's in the series on him was overplay right make him go left. He had a spectacular and 1 in game 7 going right and finishing through Butler and it was one of the rare times in the halfcourt they let him get to his right hand.

in the postgame on TNT they had a discussion on the Rockets. Adams is a FA they were saying they think a contender will try and get Adams and Barkley said he doesn't think Houston is a contender yet. Been saying it for ages man I want the Warriors to get Adams if they can do it financially. If I were the Rockets I would be doing everything I could to keep Adams I have no idea if he wants to stay there or not but that 2 post lineup with him and Sengun was something else

And Van Vleet has a 44.8 million option to pickup and they seemed to think the Rockets WILL pick it up.

The Rockets are prob thinking that Van Fleet contract will come in handy if they want to trade for Giannis/KD.

Draymond should’ve been ejected for this

The fact that the NBA continuously let him get away with this is an indictment of how poorly run the league is

It also is why no one should ever have any sympathy for any warrior player if they get cheap shotted

Getting away with this kind of crap REPEATEDLY is why I find it ludicrous whenever I hear any GS fan cry about cheap play. When your team benefits from it, more than any other team, on the way to titles no less, it’s just pathetic to me to hear any kind of whining about other teams doing to Warriors what your team has done to others for over a decade.

I almost never watch the NBA anymore, but I saw most of this game. I thought it would have been a Flagrant 1, but the technical was close enough. I like Van Gundy, but he was obviously wrong in this case, and I doubt he believed what he was saying.

I thought that was a flagrant as well. The initial hit you can say ok he was flailing because of the foul but the follow through was clearly intentional.

There was a play later where he fouled Sengun and they were trying to get a flagrant off him hitting him across the face but when they showed the replay Sengun's left hand hit Draymond in the face first. IIRC Van Gundy immediately said if they challenge that it's going to be an offensive foul on Sengun and probably a flagrant. I don't think Kerr challenged it.

Draymond just needs to play basketall, that was his best behaved game of the series and he still had 2-3 stupid plays that could have gotten him run

that's a lot of money for an older player past his prime (i think he is past it?)

anyway, my favorite part of the TNT post-game was when they did the gone fishing part and Jose Altuve was in a trash can. And right before that C. Barkley made a fool of himself by bashing his own network for his lack of NHL knowledge.
