With five games left in the regular season, Texas (36-11, 15-9) trails first-place Georgia (39-11, 19-6) by 3 1/2 games in the SEC standings. Georgia plays LSU on Saturday night. Texas is the SEC's defending champion.
Tennessee (33-17, 12-13) has been eliminated from championship contention so the Volunteers are playing for positioning in both the SEC Tournament and the NCAA Tournament. A victory on Saturday would wrap up the Volunteers' fourth SEC series win of the season.
