After dropping back-to-back Southeastern Conference series, the Texas A&M Aggies will look to rebound in a road slate against the Missouri Tigers, beginning with Game 1 on Friday at 6 p.m. CT.
Entering the weekend, the Aggies rank 22nd in the country with a .319 batting average so far this season, but the Maroon and White bullpen has been a completely different story. Texas A&M's pitching staff has posted a combined 4.30 ERA and ranks 64th with 8.41 hits allowed per nine innings.
Shane Sdao, who boasts a 4.15 ERA with 38 strikeouts in 2026, will have an opportunity to right the ship in Game 1 against a much-improved Missouri lineup.
After finishing 2025 at the bottom of the league with a 16-39 (3-27 in SEC play) overall record, the Tigers took No. 5 Auburn and No. 21 Tennessee to their limits over the first two weekends of conference play. Mizzou's 17-9 start, already surpassing last year's win total, is due in large part to the impact of designated hitter Jase Woita. The graduate transfer leads Missouri with a .376 batting average and four home runs.
