COLLEGE STATION — Texas A&M football received a commitment Tuesday afternoon from 2027 edge Zyron Forstall.
The No. 2 player in Florida according to 247Sports' composite rankings, Forstall chose A&M over Notre Dame and Alabama. Forstall is 6-foot-4, 225 pounds, and currently attends IMG Academy in Florida.
A five-star prospect, Forstall is considered one of the top players in the class, ranking 13th in the nation.

According to 247 Sports' director of scouting, Andrew Ivins, Forstall is a "Hyperactive pass rusher that’s much more speed than he is power at this stage." According to Ivins, Forstall "Owns a unique build as the weight has fluctuated over the years and he’s rather lean in the lower half." and "Explodes out a three-point stance with rare get-off."
Forstall is the 11th addition to the Aggies' 2027 class and now the highest-ranked member of the group. A&M currently has the second-best recruiting class in the nation, according to 247 Sports.
