The Houston Texans, dealing with a few injuries ahead of the playoffs, ruled out one of their running backs for the wild-card matchup against the Pittsburgh Steelers.
After suffering a high ankle sprain in Week 18 that ultimately forced him to miss three straight practices, Texans running back Jawhar Jordan has been ruled out for Monday’s matchup versus the Steelers.
Jordan, who emerged as Houston’s top backup, produced 193 rushing yards and 34 receiving yards in four games this season.
Behind starting running back “Woody” Marks, the Texans’ depth is as follows: Nick Chubb, Dare Ogunbowale, and British Brooks.
The Texans also listed two players, safety Jaylen Reed and cornerback Ajani Carter, as questionable for the playoff matchup against Pittsburgh.
