The Houston Texans are dealing with some issues in their quarterback room ahead of the playoff matchup against the Pittsburgh Steelers, as the team revealed one signal caller isn't traveling with the team for personal reasons.

On Sunday, the Texans reported that backup QB Davis Mills was questionable to play this Monday with a non-injury-related — personal designation against the Steelers and wouldn't travel with the team to Pittsburgh.

Selected by the Texans with the 67th overall pick in the third round of the 2021 NFL Draft, Mills started three games this season in place of an injured CJ Stroud, winning every matchup.

In 44 games, Mills has thrown for 7,082 yards, 40 touchdowns, and 26 interceptions.

If Mills can't suit up, rookie fifth-round quarterback Graham Mertz would be Stroud's backup for Monday's playoff matchup against the Steelers.
