Former Detroit Lions cornerback Terrion Arnold has already gotten interest from multiple NFL teams, Arnold's lawyer told USA TODAY.

According to Harvey Steinberg, Arnold's attorney, the former first-round pick has been contacted by three NFL teams and that he expects Arnold will join another team "within 30 days." He did not reveal which teams have contacted Arnold, nor did he detail their level of interest.

The Lionscut Arnold on Monday, June 29, hours after a Florida judge granted him a $1 million bond in his ongoing kidnapping case. Arnold was arrested on June 24 and charged with four counts of kidnapping and four counts of armed robbery in relation to a February kidnapping and assault of three men prosecutors say Arnold believes were involved in a robbery of over $250,000 of worth of goods from his rental unit in Largo, Florida.

The charges could carry a life sentence for Arnold if he is found guilty. Arnold maintains his innocence, with representatives for Arnold saying, "There is no credible evidence linking Mr. Arnold to these allegations."

Chief Judge Christopher C. Sabella, who is presiding over the case in Florida, denied the state's request to keep Arnold incarcerated until his trial and is allowing Arnold to play in the NFL as his case continues. He was released from jail on June 30 and will face another pre-trial hearing on Monday, July 6, with prosecutors filing a motion asking for Arnold to wear an ankle monitor.

Since the Lions waived Arnold, teams have until July 6 to claim the cornerback off of waivers, though he could also be placed on the commissioner's exempt list as the trial continues, putting him on paid leave for an indefinite amount of time.
